1) “Community, Diversity, and Excellence: Celebrating Stanford’s Minority Alumni” from April 30 to May 2.
Hosted by the Minority Alumni Task Force, the conference includes a SAPAAC lunch event. Featuring Bernadine Chuck Fong ’66, MA ’68, PhD ’83 and Goodwin Liu ’91, and moderated by SAPAAC chair Jay Mandal ’96, this panel discussion will focus on Asian American alumni involvement and commitment to Stanford.

2) API Heritage Month Reception/ Angel Island Documentary May 3rd, 7-8:30PM Stanford Law School FREE
Join us for a discussion with Katherine Toy, Stanford alumni '91 and '95 and Executive Director of the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation following the screening of "Carved in Silence", a celebrated documentary by Emmy Award winner Felicia Lowe on Angel Island and its use as an immigration station for Asians trying to enter into the US in the early 1900s. Event sponsored by SAAAC (Stanford Asian American Activism Collective), KDPhi, ASF (Asian Staff Forum), SAPAAC (Stanford Asian Pacific American Alumni Club). Admission is FREE. 3) Stanford Asian American Awards Banquet, May 5th.
On May 5th, The Stanford Asian Pacific American Alumni Club (SAPAAC) invites you to come join in the celebration and recognition of Alumnus Robert Ching Wo ’46 and other dedicated individuals at the 2004 Stanford Asian American Awards banquet. The 5th Annual Awards dinner, organized by the Asian American Activities Center Advisory Board, features award presentations to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, alumni and staff for their contributions to the Stanford community. Come celebrate the achievements of fellow students and awardees and enjoy student performances and a catered dinner.
