SAPAAC is one of Stanford University's largest national alumni organizations. We are dedicated to connecting Asian Pacific American (APA) alumni to the Stanford community.

With membership, you receive free or discounted admission to SAPAAC events. You will also support community building and up-to-date communications on Stanford news and happenings, from an APA perspective.

The Asian American Activities Center, or A³C, is a department under the Vice Provost for Student Affairs and serves as Stanford's primary resource for Asian American student affairs and community development. The A³C contributes to the academic mission of the university through its partnerships and collaborative work with faculty, departments and academic programs.

“Are you half Asian?”

I hesitated for a moment before answering, “Yes,” and immediately regretted my evasive, cowardly response. I have never felt “half” anything. I know that I am no more “half Asian” than the “half moon” is half of a moon. Like the moon I am not half, I am whole.
