SAPAAC Board Elections 2019
Love Stanford's Asian American community? Want to reconnect and get involved?
Run for a two-year term. New board members will serve 2019 September to 2021 September.
Candidates must hold a SAPAAC membership (you can join for free at http://www.sapaac.org/join-sapaac). They must be able to attend the first SAPAAC Board meeting, a one-day retreat in the Bay Area tentatively scheduled for the weekend of September 28, 2019. Attending this meeting in person is strongly preferred, but online arrangements are possible for candidates located outside the United States.

Apply. Fill out your candidate application here by Friday, August 23, 2019. Your statement will be shared with the SAPAAC community for the three weeks of the elections.
Vote. Candidate statements will be made available beginning August 25. SAPAAC candidate statements will be available for 3 weeks on the SAPAAC website. Membership will view candidate statements on the website and vote. The SAPAAC community will cast their ballots.
Announce. New board members will be announced Monday, September 16, 2019.

Founded in 1989, SAPAAC is one of Stanford's largest national alumni organizations. We host networking and community building events, advocate for the A3C and API issues on campus, and strive to keep API alumni connected to Stanford. As alumni, we have a unique opportunity to make our voices heard and ensure that Stanford continues to make progress towards being a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for our communities.
