Beyond attending SAPAAC events, you can also volunteer to serve on one of SAPAAC's committees, suggest your own event ideas, and give feedback to the Board!

Advocacy & Education

issues.jpg

SAPAAC advocates on behalf of Asian American alumni on issues that affect Stanford's Asian American community, the API community nationally, and on matters that concern the Stanford community broadly. Some of SAPAAC's key areas of interest include:

  • Nationally: political participation by Asian Americans and inclusion in American society

  • At Stanford: faculty and administration diversity, supporting the Asian American Studies program and diversity of alumni leadership

Read our periodic AAPI Briefings for more updates on these issues, and please write to us if you're interested in joining this committee! Monthly meetings are open to all SAPAAC members.
