SAPAAC is a national and global organization with a diverse membership, from a range of class years and communities. We are seeking 5 members for our Board from 2023-2025 and highly value diversity in terms of geography, class year, ethnicity, and life experience.
Continuing into 2024 are 8 current board members: Kevin Hsu ’09, Jospehine Lau ’06, Caroline Lee ’09, Evelyn Mei ’17, Jin Park ’91, Katie Gee Salisbury ’07, Risa Shimoda ’77, and Jennifer Xiong ’22. We plan to fill 5 vacancies on the board.
Stage 1, through Aug. 7, Application (Self Nomination). Candidates statements will be compiled.
Stage 2, Aug. 9 to Aug. 25, Voting by General Membership
First Meeting of the SAPAAC Board will be a virtual Welcome/On-Boarding on Saturday, Sep. 23, 3-5 p.m. PST

Founded in 1989, SAPAAC is one of Stanford's largest national alumni organizations. We host networking and community building events, advocate for the A3C and API issues on campus, and strive to keep API alumni connected to Stanford. As alumni, we have a unique opportunity to make our voices heard and ensure that Stanford continues to make progress towards being a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for our communities.
