Join SAPAAC members and other Stanford alums to see the world premiere of “Soft Power”. With book and lyrics by fellow SAPAAC member, David Henry Hwang ’79, “Soft Power” is a future, East-meets-West musical, that tells the uproarious story of a modern-day high profile Chinese executive who falls in love with a prominent American just as the political landscape and power begins to drastically shift between the two countries following the 2016 election. An optional pre-performance reception and box lunch with David has been arranged at The Cathedral right across from the theater. SAPAAC is a co-sponsor of this event with the Stanford Alumni Association.
